BWB, a professional services consultancy combining a top legal practice with impact, advisory and compliance advisory services, has announced its support of the Growth Investor Awards as sponsor of Best Investment Platform.

Gillian Roche-Saunders, Partner & Head of BWB Compliance, commented: ”The rise of investment platforms is driving innovation in the growth finance industry – and this creates some of the most interesting legal and regulatory questions for our firm .  BWB and I have been working with investment platforms and growth finance providers for a number of years, supporting them as they have launched, grown and innovated.  Now that we have brought together our legal and regulatory expertise, we are particularly proud to sponsor the Best Investment Platform award.  This award recognises the most groundbreaking platform models, products and services from across the market.”

SyndicateRoom won Best Investment Platform in 2015, triumphing against finalists including Seedrs, Venture Founders, Kuber Ventures and Lawson Conner.

Commenting on last year’s winner, Daniel Kiernan, Research Director of Intelligent Partnership & Chair of Judges said: “A strong entry in terms of volume growth and providing a wide range of investment opportunities, SyndicateRoom impressed judges with an innovative structure based on having a ‘lead angel’”.

The deadline for submissions is 24th June. Any company or individual meeting the criteria can enter the Growth Investor Awards by filling in an entry form and paying an entry fee (£195 + VAT) for each relevant award category. Organiser Intelligent Partnership will announce the finalists in July – when finalist entries will be submitted for a second round of judging.
