LGBR Capital, the developer and distributor of innovative financial solutions including alternative funds and tax efficient products, has once again announced its support of the Awards as sponsor of Financial Adviser of the Year.

The Financial Adviser of the Year award is designed to highlight the role of advisers in promoting alternative investments, and recognize those who actively educate themselves and their clients about how to diversify their portfolios.

Jack Rose, Business Development Director for Tax Products at LGBR Capital, commented: “The shortlist for the 2015 Financial Adviser of the Year highlighted the quality of advisers active in alternative investment and the impact of the Growth Investor Awards campaign to recognise the industry’s unsung heroes. We are proud to support the Growth Investor Awards campaign to recognize those advisers who commit precious time to learning about the best alternative investment products and how to recommend them. To encourage as many of the very best to enter, LGBR is covering the cost of entry in our sponsorship of the Financial Adviser of the Year award.”

Carl Lamb, Managing Director of Almary Green triumphed over finalists including Anna Sofat of Addidi Wealth, James Parker of Radcliffe & Newlands, and Stephen Jones of Clear Solutions Wealth & Tax Management.

Jonothan McColgan, Chartered Financial Planner at Combined Financial Strategies, was runner up for Financial Adviser of the Year in 2015. Commenting on his experience, he said: “The Growth Investor Awards are the ones to win because they attract quality from across the industry. An Advisory Board and a panel of 35 independent judges make these Awards credible and prestigious – and the ceremony was a great event. It was good to see the Growth Investor Awards adding value with its PR support – both in the run up to the ceremony and afterwards. The Feedback Report also sets it apart.”

The deadline for submissions is 24th June. Any company or individual meeting the criteria can enter the Growth Investor Awards by filling in an entry form for each relevant award category. As part of LGBR Capital’s sponsorship of this award, there is no entry fee for Financial Adviser of the Year. Intelligent Partnership will announce the finalists in July – when finalist entries will be submitted for a second round of judging. Winners in 14 award categories will be revealed at a black tie dinner for 350 movers and shakers at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square on 3rd November.
